He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Eugene "Duck" Cooley, Sr. and Barbara Shaw Cooley; and his granddaughter Ashlyn Adale Kinard. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Ashley Cooley; his daughters, Gina Bishop (Cody) of Greenwood and Brooke Johnson (Lee) of Cartersville, GA; his adoptive son Jonathan Bedenbaugh of Donalds; his sister Susan Cooley Hiott of Honea Path; his grandchildren, Banks Bishop and Sophia Pearl Johnson; and his pets, Conway and Elmo.
