She was predeceased by: her spouse Glen Durham Readett, Sr.; her parents, Earle Clyde Duckett and Lucie VeRelle Duckett; and her sisters, Evelyn Anne Richbourg and Wilma Lomas.
She is survived by: her children, Glen Readett, Jr. (Cheryl) of Port Orange, FL, Earle Readett (Lisa) of Greenwood, Nancy Summey (Wayne) of Greenwood and Edith Thompson (Grady) of Greenwood; her grandchildren, Martin Summey, Jr. (Megan), Ryan Summey (Nicole), Ashley Haynes (Brian), Glen Readett, III (Jennifer), Elizabeth Lomenick (Todd), Scott Readett (Polly), Kristi Moore (Shane), Jennifer Cox (Michael), Hunter Thompson (Audrey) and Kayla Long (Josh); and her sister-in-law Jessie Ruth Warner of Greer. She is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Blyth Funeral Home & Cremation Services (1425 Montague Ave, Greenwood, SC 29649). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Blyth Funeral Home Chapel (1425 Montague Ave, Greenwood, SC 29649).
