He is survived by: his wife Mary Stuart Bobo; his daughters, Carol Nichols (Joey) of Columbus, Georgia and Catherine Chavez (Gary) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and his grandchildren, Bailey Nichols, Will Nichols (Lauren) and Felix Chavez.
