She was predeceased by: her parents, James Clyde Fortner and Clara Bell Hawks Fortner; and her siblings, Ray Fortner, Faye Owen and Mary Giles.
She is survived by: her husband Leon Waters Massey; her children, Mike Massey (Phyllis), Tammy Hilley (Steve) and Vickie Ferguson (John); her sisters, Patsy Still (Jimmy) and Emily White; and her grandchildren, Nicole Summey (Ryan), Lacey Dixon (Steve), Lindsey McAlister, Kayla Fryer (Eric), Brandon Massey (Katie), Allison Douglas (Trevor) and Catherine Goodwin (PJ).
