He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Cook and Elizabeth Hamlett Cook; his brother Dennis Cook; and his brother-in-law Lanny Bryant. He is survived by: his wife Mary Frances Cook; his daughters, Emily Carruth (Bryan), Leigh Bradberry (Steven) and Kelley Cook; his siblings, Cathy Bryant, Dewey Cook (Carol) and Alvin Cook (Betty); and his grandchildren, Chase Reid Carruth and Alekai Bradberry.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Harley Funeral Home & Crematory (1025 Main St S, Greenwood, SC 29646). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel (1025 Main St S, Greenwood, SC 29646).
