With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Mitchell Wooten of Greenville, South Carolina, who passed away on January 18, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his spouse Jimmie Ann Mills Wooten; his parents, Edgar Wooten and Ella Davis Wooten; and his son Kenny Wooten. He is survived by: his daughters, Delane Smith (Tony), Kim Burdette (David) and Susie McClellan (Steve); his grandsons, Joshua Henry (Melissa), Nick McClellan (Alison) and Matt McClellan (Yvette); his stepgrandchildren, Candyce Sollinger (Daniel) and Daniel Smith (Victoria); his great grandchildren, Bowen, Lorelei Henry, Emsleigh, Campbell, Meredith Grey, Asher, Merritt McClellan, Zaedee and Willow Sollinger; and his stepgranddaughter Marissa Tyre.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Woodlawn Memorial Park (1901 Wade Hampton Blvd, Greenville, SC 29615). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
