He was predeceased by: his parents, Louree Bridges and Raymond Bridges; his son Warren Bridges; his sons-in-law, Jimmy Aiken and Gary Henderson; and his siblings, Jean Moore and Keith Bridges.

He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Aiken and Lynn McLauchlin (Otho); his grandchildren, Allison Hanna (Geov), Ashley York Ruff (Jason), Lindsay Newbill (Bobby) and Kaitlin Wildemuth (Doug); his great grandchildren, George, Lily, Kate Hanna, Kendall, Noah and Andrew York; his grandchildren, Grant, Avery Ruff, Charlotte, Bo Newbill and Elliott Wildemuth; his sisters, Betty Tanner, Eleanor Thompson and Rebecca Burnett; and his close friend Anna Bell Whitson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In honor of Bill's memory, donations may be made to Palmetto Baptist Church, 2730 Anderson Road, Greenville 29611.
