He was predeceased by: his parents, Coy Thomas Bruce and Mary Jackson Bruce; his brother Mark Bruce; and his brother-in-law Richard Smart. He is survived by: his children, Cheryl E. Bruce of Phoenix and Gerrad Bruce (Karisa) of Easley; his sister Cheryl White (Barry); and his grandson William Bruce.
