He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacqueline McCurry Thrailkill and William Earl Thrailkill; his stepmother Mary Anne Thrailkill; and his stepgrandson Miles McMillan Batson. He is survived by: his wife Laurie Schipman Thrailkill; his daughters, Jacqueline Thrailkill Batson (Chip) and Clair Thrailkill Ray (Keefe); his grandchildren, Mason William Baird, Cooper O'Keefe Ray and Quinn McCurry Ray; his siblings, Stephen Alan Thrailkill (Wendy) and Curry Thrailkill Crowson (Kenny); and his stepsisters, Martha Byrd Fisher and Lori Byrd Bennett (Tommy). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Cancer Society of Greenville County.
