He was predeceased by: his parents, John Frank Sanders, Sr. and Eula Jane Myers Sanders; and his brothers, John Frank Sanders, Jr. and Gene Sanders. He is survived by: his brother Edward Sanders (Beth) of Belton, SC; and his nieces and nephews, Sarah Jane Sanders, Staci Yeargin, Mary Ivester, Sharon Morse, Virginia Haughton, Sam Sanders and David Sanders.

Memorial donations may be made in honor of Don to the Cancer Society of Greenville 113 Mills Avenue Greenville, SC 29605.
