It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Cardell Jones Sr. of Greenville, South Carolina, who passed away on June 8, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arbin Jones and Corrie Miller Jones; his close friend Lydia Gambrell; and his sons, Casey Jones of Greenville, SC, Wayne C. Jones, Jr. of Greenville, SC and Rico Brown of Greenville, SC. He was also cherished by six sisters; four brothers; fifteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
