With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walde Nilsson Jr. in Greenville, South Carolina, born in Savannah, Georgia, who passed away on October 19, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Faye Bragg Nilsson; and his parents, Walde Henry Nilsson, Sr. and Edna Catherine Kobbe Nilsson. He is survived by: his children, Kim Nilsson (Paul Meanley) of Greensboro, GA and Brian Nilsson of Arlington, VA; his siblings, Carl Nilsson (Regina) of Greenville, Jack Nilsson, Sr. (Lynn) of Roanoke, VA, Dale Nilsson (Glenda) of Duncan, Cathy and Nilsson Scott (Jerry) of Lawrenceville, GA; and his nieces and nephews, Billy Nilsson, Jenny Nilsson Green, Emmy Nilsson Benjamin and Faye. He is also survived by great-nieces and a great-nephew.
