She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Gary and Sarah Louise Gary. She is survived by: her children, Pierre Gary (Patricia) of Simpsonville, Michelle Whitmire of Greenville and Rena Goldsmith of Greenville; and her siblings, Robert Floyd (Sharon) of Rock Hill, Charles Floyd of Greenville, Jackie Floyd (Bess) of Columbia, Cynthia Davis (Larry) of Greenville, Agnes Glenn of Greenville and Kathy Floyd of Charlotte. She is also survived by three grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
