She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Hart and Maude Hood; her son Edward Johnson; and her half-siblings, Betty Turner, Linda Stamey and Calvin Stamey.

She is survived by: her children, Ronald Johnson, Larry Johnson (Geraldine), Jerry Gunther and Patricia Entrekin (Craig). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
