It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Childress (Greenville, South Carolina), born in El Paso, Illinois, who passed away on January 22, 2023, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Isabel Erskine Dunmire Beal and Ralph Dunmire; her sister Dorothy; her daughters, Vickie Balchunas (Michael) and Mary Childress; and her grandchildren, Suzanne Balchunas Boué (Adelqui), Brian Balchunas (Kelly), Laura Sanders Tomlinson (Raymond) and Diana Sanders Ryan (Timothy). She was also cherished by eight great-grandchildren.
