He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Eula Gladden Johnson; his parents, Major William and Lillian Williams Johnson; his children, Danella Watts (Jonathan) of Greenville, SC, Vanessa Johnson (Wesley) of Greenville, SC, Reverend Mamie Johnson-Howell of Taylor, SC, Vau-Louis Johnson, Jr. (Reginia) of Fountain Inn, SC and Demetris R. Johnson of Louisville, KY; and his sister Wanda Cooper of Atlanta, GA.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary (1011 Augusta St, Greenville, SC 29605).
