He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. William West Simmons and Ruth Simmons; and his brother Richard Simmons. He is survived by: his wife Mary Sue Simmons; his son Neil West Simmons; and his siblings, Joy A. Simmons, Bob Simmons and Jean Day. He is also survived by his family, friends.
