He was predeceased by: his parents, Dalton McWhite and Dorothy McWhite; his son Jeffrey McWhite; and his grandson Hunter Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, Connie McWhite Scozzari (Sonny) of Jacksonville and Chad McWhite (Jodi) of Powdersville, SC; his sisters, Dona Dunn of Travelers Rest, SC and Joan Douglas (Herman) of Travelers Rest, SC; and his grandchildren, Tanner Wilson (Summer), Tori McWhite (Nikki), Grant McWhite and Jenna McWhite. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
