He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Charles, Jr. and Elizabeth Grier Gower. He is survived by: his children, Meagan Vanzant (Chris) and Brendan Gower (Jessica); his grandchildren, Sullivan, Thomas Vanzant, Ellis and Grace Gower; his siblings, Grier Mullins (Butler), Margaret Bruce (Duff) and Roger Gower (Martha); and his cousin Larry Hollis of Cary, NC.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
