He was predeceased by : his parents, Reece Evans and Nena Black Evans; his wife Cecelia Lynn Evans; and his siblings, Lewis, William, Truman Evans, Mary Frances Kelley and Annie Bell English.

He is survived by : his children, Nikki McJunkin (Stanley), Becky Ricks (Greg) and Rusty Evans; and his grandchildren, Stephanie McJunkin, Shawna Evans, Gregory Ricks and Evan Ricks.
