He was predeceased by: his grandparents, James E., Gladys Currie Player of Sardinia, SC, Ralph and Julie Scott Watts of Turbeville, SC.. He is survived by: his parents, Hugh Player and Cyndi Watts Player; his siblings, David Player (Paula) of Myrtle Beach and Hilary Player Caldwell (David) of Duncan; and his nephews, Dillon, Hayden, Ethan Caldwell, Miles and Spencer.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Peru Missions or the Missions at Second Presbyterian church, 105 River Street, Greenville, SC.
