He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Elizabeth Smith and William Walson Smith; and his sister Mary Susan Smith Gerrard. He is survived by: his children, Dodie and Billy; his wife E. Dorothy Isler Smith (Dottie); his children, E. Dorothy Smith Green (Dodie) and William Warren Smith, Jr. (Billy); his sister Martha Smith Welborn (James); and his sister-in-law Judith Slater Isler. He is also survived by three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
