She was predeceased by: her husband George F. Pettit; her parents, Walter Swede Elrod and Gladys Rebecca Phillips Elrod; and her brothers, Phillip Elrod, Dick Elrod and Bill Elrod.
She is survived by: her children, Ronnie M. Pettit (Beverly) of Greenville and Paige Pettit Bouchillon (Kenneth) of Anderson. She is also survived by five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchildren.
