She was predeceased by: her parents, Beatrice Hernandez and Ray O. Guidry; and her son Jawad P. Ashy. She is survived by: her husband Peter J. Ashy; her daughters, Diana Ashy Nations and Lara Ann Ashy; her grandchildren, Katelin M. Nations and Rob B. Nations III; her stepmother Grace Guidry; and her siblings, Steve Guidry (Stella), Michael Guidry and Bonnie White (Neil). She is also survived by several nieces and great nieces.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes - Downtown Chapel (639 N Main St, Greenville, SC 29601). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Rafka Maronite Catholic Church (1215 SC-14, Greer, SC 29650).
