He is survived by: his parents, Samuel Scott Simmons, Sr. and Susan Clary Simmons; his brother Stephen James Simmons; his sister-in-law Karla Katibah Simmons; his grandmothers, Betty Clary Usher and Anna Dunlap Simmons; his aunts and uncles, Brad (Beth Simmons), Lisa Clary, Harry Leaf and Edie (Brian Brewer); and his cousins, Austin Simmons, Katy Burdine, Isabelle Leaf, Whitney Hamm, Erika Lenzi and Kelly Dean.
