It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Anne Dawson (Greenville, South Carolina), born in Pickens, South Carolina, who passed away on March 31, 2019, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mattie Ruth Hammond Campbell of Greer and Henry Fred Gilstrap; her children, David Cody Dawson (Tina) of Central, Joseph Tilman Dawson (Desi) of Liberty, SC, Tanya Leigh Whitworth (Kenneth) of Salem and Carrie Ellen Dawson; her siblings, Walter Campbell of Williamston, SC and Angie Ross of Westminster; her grandchildren, Eden Whitworth, Kent Whitworth, Aidan Dawson, Peyton Dawson, Parker Dawson, Candise Rhodes and Jamie Rhodes; and her great grandchildren, Levi Ridley, Arianna Ridley and Alyssa Whitworth.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
