He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Thomas Doyle Ghent and Lydia Epps Ghent; and his brother Thomas D. Ghent, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Freida Ghent; his brother Richard Ghent; and his cousin S. Jahue Moore. He is also survived by his six grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes - Downtown Chapel (639 N Main St, Greenville, SC 29601).
