She was predeceased by: her husband Kermit Shelton; her parents, Jesse O'Kelley and Ayrie Galloway O'Kelley; and her brothers, David O'Kelley (Joyce) and Coleman O'Kelley (Betty).

She is survived by: her children, Kermit Gregory Shelton, Cynthia Shelton Beall (John) and Vicki Shelton Crawford (Keith); and her grandchildren, Randy Cole, Tyler, Seth Shelton, Clancy, Marshall Crawford (Brooke), Adam and Virginia Beall.
