He was predeceased by: his spouse Dean Garrett; his parents, Boyce Garrett and Catherine Abbott Garrett; and his siblings, John Garrett, Faye Stroud, Shirley Kostrya and Camellia Turner.
He is survived by: his children, Pam Garrett Ashley (Glenn) and David Garrett (Jan); his grandson William Garrett; and his brothers, Jim Garrett and Tommy Garrett.
