He was predeceased by: his wife Martha Kelly; his parents, Ray Kelly and Edith Perry Kelly; his daughter Lynda Finley; and his parents-in-law, Singleton Bayne and Laura Bayne.

He is survived by: his sons, Robert Kelly (Barbara), Tim Kelly (Sherry), Lee Kelly (Tammy) and Ricky Hart. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
