He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce Ranew and Queenie Mauline Armour. He is survived by: his wife Nell Ranew; his sons, Bob Ranew (Trudi) and Dain Ranew (Deedie); his granddaughters, Marley Ranew and Jordan Ellis; and his brother-in-law Dr. Thomas Bailey Jr. (Cathy). He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
