He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth Brittain (Betsy); his parents, Columbus Carlisle and Margaret Moorhead; his siblings, Carol Moorhead Wilkins and Richard "Dickie" Moorhead; and his aunt Eloise Dempsey.
He is survived by: his daughters, Robyn and Tate; and his grandchildren, Matthew, Jacob Nicolini, Claire and Lauren Binger.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gordon Mortuary (400 W Cherokee St, Blacksburg, SC 29702). A memorial service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Gordon Mortuary Chapel (400 W Cherokee St, Blacksburg, SC 29702).
