It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Wayne Locke of Greenville, South Carolina, born in Piedmont, South Carolina, who passed away on July 15, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ella Mae and Walter Benjamin Locke; and his brothers, James Kenneth Locke (Jim) and Robert Gene Locke (Bob). He is survived by: his wife Annelle Powell; his children, Martha Drake (Andy) and Heyward Locke; his grandchildren, Anderson Drake (Carson), Millie Drake and Anne Langford Drake; his great grandchild Dixon Drake; and his caregivers, Roshada "RJ" Cooks and Maria Zanella.
