It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Alfred Wickett (Greenville, South Carolina), who passed away on February 22, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Helen Fasig Wickett; his brother Henry Wickett; and his grandson Richard Anthony Kalata. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Linda Wickett; his father Alfred Wickett; his daughters, Kathryn Wilson (Chuck) and Dee Kalata (Mark, Sr.); his grandson Mark Kalata, Jr.; his sister-in-law Patricia Wickett; his nephew Hank Wickett; and his pets, Ivory Snow, Bailey Boy and Sammy.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes - Downtown Chapel (639 N Main St, Greenville, SC 29601). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Rafka Maronite Catholic Church (1215 SC-14, Greer, SC 29650).
