She is survived by: her stepdaughters, Kathryn Hope and Cynthia Hope, MD; her stepgrandson William Simpson; her stepdaughters, Elise Gruber, MD and Elizabeth Bennett Dickison; and her children, Helen Burgin (Erik Jensen), Bill Burgin (Teri), Bob Burgin (Peggy), Joe Reid (Connie McCoy), Stan Reid (Tricia), Hunt R. Cook (Danny), Robert McElroy (Lynn) and Christy McElroy.
