She was predeceased by: her parents, Houston Woody and Willie Mae Butler Woody. She is survived by: her spouse Royce Whitner; her sons, Anthony Whitner (Teresa) of Duncan, SC and Christopher Whitner (Traci) of Woodstock, GA; and her siblings, Dorothy "Dot" Chandler of Greenville, SC, Betty Dean of Greenville, SC, Annette Griggs (Frank) of Greenville, SC, Charles Woody of Greenville, SC, Thomas Woody of Greenville, SC, Glen Woody of Greenville, SC and Sammy Woody of Greenville, SC. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
