He was predeceased by: his parents, Dalsie Waters and James Mike Waters; his siblings, Faye Waugh and Ray; and his sister-in-law Margarita Waters.
He is survived by: his wife Marylyn Toevs Waters; his daughters, Jan (Gus Lard), Kay (Ben Wax), Laura (Vincent Howard) and Susan (Chuck Emrick); his grandsons, Nick Woodcox (Meghan), Drew Wax (Rachel), Zack Woodcox (Tara) and Cory Wax (Simone); and his great grandchildren, Becca, Paul Wax, Colton, Wyatt, Maddie, Kope and Kenzie Woodcox. He is also survived by step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, the children of his friends and of his co-workers.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
