She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Durkin and Anna Durkin; her husband Alfred Galway Groves; and her brother Tommy Durkin. She is survived by: her children, Shannon Blackmore (Kevin), Scott Groves (Rhonda), Eric Groves (Dee Dee), Micah Groves, Seth Groves and Wendy Frans (Joel). She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, her six children and their spouses, her grandchildren, and her great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Patty's memory to organizations close to her heart: Miracle Hill Ministries, The Wilds, and Hidden Treasure Christian School.
