She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Brooks and Daisy Zimmerman Brooks; and her husband John W. Bruster. She is survived by: her sisters-in-law, Catherine McCoy Brooks, Mae Charles Brooks and Lee Dean Jones; her niece Jerri Brinkley (Larry); her friends, Brenda Pendarvis (John) and Betty Robinson (Ernest); and her godchildren, AJ Allmond, LaVonda Clements and Pleas Lewis. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
