She was predeceased by: her husband Albert Thames; and her parents, Clarence Anderson and Malinda Echols Anderson. She is survived by: her daughter Carol "Jamelle" Smith; her sisters, Barbara Jean "Gina" Johnson of Greenville, SC and Jacqueline Halman of Jamaica, NY; and her granddaughter Amber Jewel Smith. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
