He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, W. Moffett Kendrick and Annie McDuffie Kendrick; his sister Marjorie; his wife Helen Youngblood; his children, Katherine K. Beaty (Mac) of Greenville, SC, Walter M. Kendrick III of Orlando, FL and Laura K. Corkery (Steve) of Macon, GA; his granddaughter Carrie B. Johnson (Edward); his children, Matthew Beaty of Wilmington, NC, Scott Corkery of Macon, GA and Stephanie Corkery of Los Angeles, CA; and his great grandchildren, Addie and James Johnson. He was also cherished by 10 nieces and nephews.
