He was predeceased by: his parents, Milford and Violet Garrett (Morgan); and his siblings, Martha Dacus (Grover) and Bob Garrett (Anne). He is survived by: his wife Jean Garrett (Eskew); his children, Teresa Young (Ed), Tammy Waldron (Rick), Patrick Garrett (Tracee) and Todd Garrett (Tammy); his grandchildren, Jason Vickery, Morgan Pelanda (Blaine), Madison Sittmann (Kurt), Eric Waldron, Tyler Garrett and Abigail Bechtol (Brett); his great grandchildren, Colin Pelanda and Olive Bechtol; his sister Melba Kidd; his siblings-in-law, Louise and Tom Burden; and his pet Troubles.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes - Downtown Chapel (639 N Main St, Greenville, SC 29601). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
