He was predeceased by: his aunt Donna Jean; his uncle Harry Peterson; his cousin Heath Jefferson; his father Charles David Schonhut; and his adoptive father Heyward Marion Stephens.
He is survived by: his son Jordan; his mother Linda Jefferson Stephens of Piedmont, SC; his sons, Kyle and Dale; his brother Brian Stephens (Shannon) of Piedmont, SC; his son Steele; his stepdaughters, Autumn and Summer; his uncle Tommy; his aunt Shady Jefferson; his cousins, Robert Peterson, Autumn Peterson, Ricky Jefferson Sr. (Doneila) and Tracy Jefferson; his brother Craig Simmons; his aunts, Allison and Lynn; and also, Cheney of Groot, Rob and Isabella.
