He was predeceased by: his parent Dr. C. Newman Faulconer; his sister Katharine "Kitty" Sue Hawpe; and his wife Toni Stroud Faulconer. He is survived by: his daughter Kristen F. Welborn (Will Welborn); his grandchildren, Matthew, David and Katherine; his great grandchild Naomi Hazel Welborn; and his stepdaughters, Carey Clark, Dottie Hollis and Stacey Foster.
