It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Cushman (Greenville, South Carolina), born in Fairfield, Alabama, who passed away on December 4, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Cushman and Joyce T. Cushman. He is survived by: his sisters, June Van Slyke of Franklin and Jackie Nolan (James) of Shoal Creek, Alabama.; his brother-in-law Donald W. Kimbrel of Hueytown, Alabama.; his nephew David Kimbrel of Pleasant Grove, AL.; his nieces, Dana McBrayer of Hueytown, AL. and Julie Letowski of Washington, Maine.; and his sister Donna C. (Kimbrel).
Longtime friends and pastors John Heffernan and Mike McClure will lead a celebration of Mike's life on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at Victory Baptist Church in Simpsonville, S.C.
Mike's family knows it would bring a smile to his face if he might be remembered by a donation to Victory Baptist Church, or to a church of choice.
