She was predeceased by: her former husband Earl Lee Freeman of December. She is survived by: her daughter Yvette Freeman (George Rash); her brother Earl Artis (Marcus) of Goldsboro, NC; her mother-in-law Mary Hicks; and her nieces and nephews, Gene Ray Artis, DC of Washington, Matthew Newsome and Frederick, MD.
Maxine Artis Freeman died Thursday, December 15, 2022, at the age of 74, at the Oaks at Chanticleer memory care facility in Greenville, SC, after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.
