She was predeceased by: her parents, George Threlkeld and Erma Threlkeld; her husband Troy Medlin; her siblings, Pete Threlkeld of George Threlkeld, C. W, Doris Knight, Lula Belle Rutledge and Irmaleen Thompson; her grandsons, Benjamin Bryson and Will Bryson; and her nephews, Donald Rutledge, Johnny Elrod and Tyler Paxton.
She is survived by: her friends, Diane Greer, Teresa Gaskin, Becky Neves, Bessie Downs and Linda Weeks; her children, James Medlin (Marie), Lori Burdette (Chad), KC Bryson (Barry) and Matthew Medlin (Heather); her stepchildren, Kimberly Holmes (Randy), Paula Johnson (Tim), Troy Medlin, Jr. (Suzanne), Peggy Paxton (Kevin) and Roy Medlin; her grandchildren, James Medlin (Taylor), Jesse Medlin (Ashley), Brittany Miller (Clint), Emily Miller (Quincy), Jackson Miller (Marlee), Lindsey Miller (Zach), Mackenzie Burdette, Reilly Sparks, Gabe Bryson, Alita Medlin, Penelope Medlin, Brandi Smith (Josh), Danielle Swanson (Jess), Chris Medlin (Misty), Timmy Johnson, April Mitchell (Jason), Ashley Cochran (Corey), Amber Winslett (Kaelin), Andrew Miller (Jessica), Alex Wigington (Bo), Roy Medlin, Jr. and Ricky Medlin; her great grandchildren, Connor, Onna, Beatrice, Amelia Kate, Charlie, Callie Grace, Josie, Allee, Aubree, Timothy, Madison, Skilar, Easton, Griffith, Ethan, Brody, Colton, Lexi, Katelyn, Cameron, Casen, Noah, Ben, Levi, Klaus and Karoline; her siblings, Claudette Elrod, Jane Richards, Jesse Threlkeld (Kathy) and Edith Bryson; her in-laws, Robert Smith (Sharon) and Ginger Russell (Paul); her nieces, Olivia Paxton, Alice Elrod and Lynette McElroy; and also, Tony Goodwin and Jonathan Paxton. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes - Northwest Chapel (6710 White Horse Rd, Greenville, SC 29611). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
