She was predeceased by: her parents, Morris W. Reid and Ethrelene McGuire Reid; her husband Richard Edward Elrod; and her brother Bo Reid. She is survived by: her children, Samantha Collins (Chad Collins) and Richard Edward Elrod II; and her grandchildren, Christopher, Zachary, Emma Collins, LCpl and Brandon Elrod. She is also survived by her aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Graceland Cemetery West (4814 White Horse Rd, Greenville, SC 29611).
