The memory of Mary Cox Brown (Greenville, South Carolina), who passed away on June 13, 2024 at the age of 95, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Mary may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Frank and Peg Cox (Willingham); and her husband James Edward "Ed" Brown. She is survived by : her daughters, Sandra O'Bryant (Michael) of Greer, SC and Susan Baughman (Jerry) of Greenville; and her grandchildren, Christopher O'Bryant (Jessica), Amanda VanPatton (Benjamin), Ryan Smith (Sherry) and Dana Habersang (Ryan). She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Monday, June 17th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Graceland Cemetery West (4814 White Horse Rd, Greenville, SC 29611). Visitation was held on Monday, June 17th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
