We are sad to announce that on October 6, 2023, at the age of 69, Martin Tillinghast of Greenville, South Carolina, born in Elmira, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Margaret Sarah Cavanaugh Tillinghast; and his close friend Terri Lou Woodard. He is survived by: his wife Sara Allison Stump Tillinghast; his father Joseph Tillinghast; his daughters, Sarah Tillinghast and Mary Stevens; his stepdaughter Kindel Nash; his siblings, Sheila Whitmore (Bill), Mary McCann (Mike), John Tillinghast, Kevin Tillinghast and David Tillinghast; his grandchildren, Jacob Stokes, Chandler Stevens, Parker Stevens, Anisa Nash, Tajalli Nash, Salim Nash and Karim Nash; his close friend Pete Woodard; and his pets, Franklin, Tippy and McNugget.
